Mary Haugh Memorial Award
This award initiated by Mary Haugh in 1980 may be awarded annually to a person providing outstanding service over a period of years to the Seaforth & District Horticultural Society.
Originally conceived as a Youth Incentive award, it is now bestowed on worthy individuals of any age. To nominate someone for this award, please talk to an executive member or contact the Secretary. Will you be the next recipient?
Recipients should be chosen for the following criteria:
1. Ten or more years of active membership
2. Service on society committees, contributing time and effort to civic improvements
3. Encouraged new membership enrollment by participating in drives or canvassing for new members
4. Inspired the horticultural efforts of either individuals or groups
5. Shown sincere interest in and supported the objectives of the society.
